Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5 x 8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement established treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in the assessment of patient functional abilities and progress toward therapy goals
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, credentialing requirements, and applicable state regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent Texas licensure must be obtained promptly
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Must meet contract credentialing and quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
• Candidates who have worked permanently or PRN at this facility within the last year are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or contract therapy experience
• Strong documentation and communication skills in an outpatient environment
