What You’ll Do Design mechanical components, including plastic or metal parts, assemblies, printed circuit boards, and flexes. Utilize advanced CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks to develop and refine designs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, quality, and reliability standards. Create detailed drawings and documentation to streamline manufacturing processes. Support prototype development and conduct testing, iterating designs based on feedback. Required Skills 5+ years of experience designing mechanical components and assemblies. Proficiency in CAD tools like 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Effective communicator and team player capable of functioning in a collaborative environment. Nice to Have Skills Experience with flex designs or printed circuit boards (additional experience preferred). Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties. Preferred Education and Experience While specific educational background details are not provided, a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or related fields is advantageous. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $92.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
