About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist – Freestanding Emergency Department (Contract)

Austin, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 Night Shifts per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including general body, neuro, and orthopedic scans in a freestanding emergency department setting
• Conduct advanced CT procedures such as CTA Coronary, CTA Pulmonary, Bone Marrow Biopsy, Liver Biopsy, Cryoablations, and Microwave Ablations
• Operate GE and Siemens CT equipment in accordance with department protocols and safety standards
• Perform dual-modality imaging as a CT and X-Ray Technologist
• Document and manage imaging data using Meditech EMR and Fuji PACS systems
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and collaborate effectively within a mixed-shift team environment

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Dual modality competency in CT and X-Ray required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior hospital-based CT experience strongly preferred
• Experience with interventional or procedural CT imaging (ablations, biopsies, vascular CTA)
• Familiarity with GE and/or Siemens CT equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR and Fuji PACS systems
