PRN PRN Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist

Work Schedule A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) varying shifts. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or diseases which result in a loss or impairment of speech, language, voice, cognitive and/or swallowing function. Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions. Establish goals and plans of care. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard speech therapy techniques and skills. Complete documentation. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology Program Current Ohio license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Hold or have applied for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from the American Speech‑Language Hearing Association Preferred Qualifications Experience in a clinical area Physical Requirements Manual dexterity and visual acuity to perform tasks needed for patient care and administrative tasks. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Personal Protective Equipment Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $48.00 Maximum hourly: $48.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
