Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload of transportation, trucking, aviation, maritime and general insurance defense matters Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams regarding case strategy and status Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed Develop case strategies that align with client goals and risk tolerance Work collaboratively with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in Michigan (Ohio a plus) 5+ years of civil defense litigation experience , ideally in transportation, trucking, auto, or insurance defense Strong deposition, motion, and courtroom skills Excellent writing, research, and analytical abilities Ability to manage files independently while working within a collaborative team Strong client communication and relationship‑building skills What We Offer Hybrid work schedule (in‑office + remote flexibility) Reasonable billable hour minimum compared to peer firms Competitive compensation with bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package , including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Generous PTO and paid holidays Supportive, collegial environment with opportunities for growth Stable, long‑standing defense practice with strong client relationships #J-18808-Ljbffr In-finite Search Solutions
