Surgical Technologist4x10s, Days, 7a-530p Minimum 1 Year Surgical Tech Experience. Cases are heavy in Ortho & Neuro. Exp in both REQUIRED. BLS required - ARC or AHA CST required Education Required: High School Diploma Or Equivalent; Graduate Of A Surgical Technology Accredited Through ARC/STSA.Essential Job Function Ensures That Sterile Equipment Is Not Brought In Contact With Unsterile Items Or Surfaces So That Asepsis Is Maintained. Observes And Reports On Patient Health Changes In Order To Adapt The Care Plan As Necessary. Completes The Basic Scrub Duties And Table Set-Ups For Procedures To Provide A Sterile And Prepared Environment For Surgery. Gathers Supplies And Checks Equipment To Ensure That The Necessary Materials Are Prepared For Surgery. Verifies Health Status Data For Patients With The Circulating Nurse In Order To Keep A Detailed Record Of A Patient's Condition. Performs Other Duties As Assigned.
