Why Choose Marin Post Acute Competitive compensation: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour DOE Flexible scheduling options (Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN) Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance for eligible employees Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Continuing education and professional development opportunities Supportive leadership and interdisciplinary team collaboration Modern therapy equipment and resources Positive, resident-centered culture focused on clinical excellence Convenient San Rafael location with strong community ties Job Types: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN Location: San Rafael, CA Occupational Therapist Responsibilities Perform occupational therapy evaluations and assessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident goals and clinical needs Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and activities of daily living (ADLs) Assist residents in regaining independence and maximizing functional abilities Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and adaptive techniques Recommend and train residents on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with facility, state, and federal requirements Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Participate in care conferences and discharge planning Qualifications Active and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist (OT) License Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Preferred Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care Knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and rehabilitation documentation practices New Graduates Are Encouraged to Apply!
