Infection Preventionist at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. The Infection Prevention Specialist is considered an Infection Prevention Practitioner. An IP Specialist is expected to work autonomously and should not require mentorship in their role. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field Or equivalent educ/experience

• 2 years Heathcare experience (4 years preferred).
• 2 years Epidemiology or Infection Prevention experience (4 years preferred).
• California Fire within 30 days of hire
• Within 1 year of hire: Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
