Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you the flexibility to serve students and families in a school setting while working from the comfort of your home. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that collaborates with educational professionals, parents, and other community resources, ensuring a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to care. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a conducive work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct intensive counseling and psychotherapy sessions, individually and in group formats, tailoring each intervention to meet specific client needs.

  • Perform thorough mental status examinations, consistently monitoring and documenting any significant changes in patients' mental health.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed case notes, progress reports, and individualized treatment plans that reflect the latest clinical findings and therapeutic goals.

  • Manage high-stress situations with a calm and empathetic approach, utilizing de-escalation techniques to provide immediate support and solutions.

  • Engage in collaborative efforts with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff, to ensure cohesive treatment for clients.

  • Facilitate educational workshops or presentations for parents and school staff, aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and promoting psychological well-being.

  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, strategies, and best practices that can enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents within the school system, often addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics.   • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
