What You'll Do Conduct incident investigations and support sustainable practices. Develop leadership skills while working in a collaborative lab environment. Gather, track, and manage monthly data on energy use, water consumption, and waste production. Perform process‑specific risk assessments for new laboratory procedures. Track attendance and assist in delivering New Hire Site Safety Orientations. Help develop and implement chemical hygiene protocols and PPE standards for laboratory operations. What Makes You a Good Fit Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Environmental Health and Safety, or Biology. Experience or coursework related to environmental regulations and reporting preferred. Background in health and safety management is a plus. Anticipated start date: March 23, 2026; anticipated end date: end of August 2026. Recruitment for 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all positions are filled. The salary for this role is $22‑$27 per hour.
