Full Stack Engineer

WiftHub is looking for a Founding Full‑Stack Engineer (React + Supabase). This early‑stage role is fully remote. Role: Founding Full-Stack Engineer (React + Supabase) As one of the first engineers, you’ll work directly with the founder to design, build, and deploy the core product features that power our platform. You’ll take full ownership of both frontend and backend development—from UI components to database logic—and play a key role in shaping the architecture, roadmap, and engineering culture. This is not a narrow role; you’ll be part of every stage of the product lifecycle—from concept to deployment. Responsibilities Build and maintain the main WiftHub web app using React + TypeScript + Vite. Develop and optimize backend services using Node.js and Supabase Edge Functions. Design database schemas and queries on Supabase (PostgreSQL). Implement core features: authentication (PKCE/OAuth), supplier onboarding, buyer feed, product/quote management, and notifications. Collaborate with the founder and designer on UX decisions, layout systems, and feature roadmaps. Optimize app performance, caching, and build pipelines (Netlify + GitHub Actions). Ensure security, code quality, and scalability across releases. Help define and improve internal engineering standards and workflows. Our Tech Stack Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, TailwindCSS, Framer Motion Backend: Node.js, Supabase (PostgreSQL + Edge Functions) Infra: Netlify, GitHub Actions, Supabase CLI Design & Tools: Figma, Postman, Notion, Slack What We’re Looking For Strong proficiency in React + Node.js with at least one modern project shipped. Understanding of SQL and Supabase/Postgres data modeling. Experience working with REST APIs and authentication systems. Ability to take ownership of features and deliver from idea to deployment. Passion for building products from scratch and working in a fast‑moving startup environment. Bonus: familiarity with TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Framer Motion. Compensation Competitive base salary.
