Afternoon Babysitter for 5-Year-Old Child

$20 - $25 per hour

We are in search of a caring and trustworthy babysitter to provide afternoon care for our 5-year-old child from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in Providence, RI. The position begins on March 2, 2026, and ends on June 30, 2026. Responsibilities include ensuring the child's safety and comfort during your time together. You will be required to engage in activities like reading, arts, and crafts to encourage development and enjoyment. Please maintain a clean environment and respect the child's personal space. Requirements:

Previous experience with children
Punctuality and reliability
Good communication skills
Must pass a background check

Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. This position is part-time and in-person, with contact information shared with the parent once interest is expressed. No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime routines are necessary. Only basic interaction and playtime activities are required, as there are no pets present.
