Learn more about Life at Olympus: .Job DescriptionLeads the development and execution of manufacturing strategy and technical activities required to support manufacturing line development, equipment implementation, and process optimization for volume growth. Drives the scale-up of production capacity through duplication of manufacturing lines, including equipment development, validation, and implementation. Supports ongoing cost improvement initiatives across components and manufacturing processes to meet demand requirements. Drives continuous improvement in manufacturing performance, leads complex projects, and influences engineering teams to align with business objectives. Supports product redesign efforts focused on cost optimization through design improvements and automation development.Job DutiesWorks closely with Engineering leadership to develop, drive, and sustain new business development strategies and opportunities within engineering and operationsDrive system changes (GWIs, GSOP forms) and business systems (Line Balance, work content tools) Lead development of validation documentation (IQ, OQ, PQ)Develop and implement capacity planning, cost improvement and facilities layout for equipment moves and additionsDevelop programs for training operations and engineering (Knowledge Sharing)Develop and implement discussions with resources such as suppliers and Olympus sites to develop new business opportunitiesLead assessment strategy for process capabilities, prioritize process improvement opportunities.
