Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• State licensure (if applicable to MA)
• Specialized training in Interventional Radiology required
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in IR Tech roles
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with a variety of interventional radiology procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Monitor patient status during procedures, providing quality care throughout
• Adhere to strict infection control and radiation safety standards
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
