Assess the general performance of the clinical staff in the department. Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards of care. Develop and monitor personnel staffing schedules and budgets. Identify research protocols affecting the patient population served. Develop unit goals and objectives with input from staff. Conduct monthly meetings to address various operational topics. Make recommendations for personnel growth and development. Identify potential successors to the Nurse Manager role. Oversee medication management, administration, procurement, and storage. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience required. 2-5 years of leadership/management experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
