Legal Counsel

We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team in Orlando, FL, supporting a wide range of business functions across our growing organization.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse legal matters while partnering closely with teams across development, sales, marketing, and consumer financing.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide day-to-day legal advice and counsel across business operations, with a focus on development, sales, marketing, and consumer financing within the vacation ownership industry
• Support the acquisition of land and resort properties for development
• Draft and negotiate marketing and sales agreements with third-party developers and sellers, and provide ongoing guidance
• Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including purchase, services, confidentiality, consulting, technology, promotional agreements, leases, and licenses
• Monitor and track legislation impacting the industry; advise business partners and implement necessary process updates
• Review and provide guidance on resort governing documents (declarations, by-laws, management agreements, etc.)
• Collaborate with outside counsel as needed
• Deliver training to business partners on legal topics
• Support the broader HGV Legal team and company goals through additional duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Juris Doctor (JD) required
• 18+ months of relevant legal experience
• Experience in real estate law strongly preferred
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Location Requirement:

• This is an onsite role based in Orlando, FL —candidates must be able to work from the office.
