Shift Manager - Petland

Petland is looking for Dynamic People in Chicagoland. We have three beautiful stores, located in Hoffman Estates, Bolingbrook and Batavia, and have some tremendous career opportunities for the right individuals.

We are currently hiring full-time Shift Managers. Shift Managers are responsible for the health and welfare of all the animals in the store. In addition, you will manage Pet Counselors and insuring high levels of customer service, sales, cleaning animal cages, the care and well being of all of our animals, and working with customers to educate them on keeping their pets. Our employees are animal lovers. They take a great deal of pride in caring for the animals and making sure they go to good homes and the customers are well set up to care for them.

Hourly Management Pay ranges from $12 - $20+/hr with sales incentives. We offer our employees a unique and fun working environment, competitive pay, and significant employee discounts. To qualify for a management role, you should have three years experience in retail management with an emphasis on improving employee performance.

Our store is open 7 days a week from 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays, so you must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Requirements:
This is a retail operation, you will be expected to be available nights and weekends. You will be expected to be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. Be able to work above your head, and below your feet. Prior retail management experience is required.
