Human Resources Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of human resources experience , ideally within QSR, hospitality, or the restaurant industry
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
Human Resources Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills
- Multi-unit restaurant or franchise experience
- Experience recruiting both hourly and management-level positions
- Knowledge of labor scheduling and workforce planning
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Human Resources Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract diverse, qualified talent
- Lead the sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process for all restaurant roles
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and address employee relations issues promptly
- Coordinate training programs and support performance improvement processes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate employee records
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR reporting
- Prepare and analyze reports related to staffing, turnover, labor costs, and retention metrics
