A well-established animal health manufacturing company is looking for a Document Control Assistant to support site-wide quality and compliance operations on first shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue controlled records for production and review for Good Documentation Practices compliance
- Maintain and operate the site Electronic Document Management System
- Ensure documents are stored, traceable, and retrievable per approved retention policy
- Support SOP formatting and compliance with site documentation standards
- Participate in deviation and change control processes
- Assist with regulatory inspection readiness and day-to-day quality operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 3 years
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computer systems; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a plus
- Experience in an FDA or USDA regulated environment preferred
- Familiarity with document retention programs or EDMS platforms a plus
