Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of the team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment for a hospital in Sun City Center, FL. This role requires adherence to patient safety, imaging protocols, and effective communication with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience .
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT registry eligibility/certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Experience administering IV contrast and performing CT angiography preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with multi-slice CT scanners.
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems.
• Customer service skills for interacting with diverse patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• May require adherence to hospital scrub color policy for radiology (black scrubs noted).
• Hospital has 138 beds.
