The role involves providing direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Responsibilities completing assessments analyzing patient data notifying physicians of changes developing and evaluating treatment plans documenting care ensuring patient and environmental safety The nurse educates patients and families, applies evidence-based practices, and adheres to professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics. Key qualifications graduation from an accredited nursing program valid RN licensure BLS certification The position requires physical stamina for constant movement, lifting, and communication. The nurse supervises care delivered by LPNs and techs and performs other duties as assigned.
