Outpatient Occupational Therapist - Lymphedema Experience Required

The Outpatient Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on individual needs and goals, in accordance with physician direction. This role ensures the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective returns to community activities and promotes patient and employee safety. The therapist will educate patients, families, and colleagues while adhering to the organization's mission, core values, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student program supervision and evaluations.
• Develop an individualized professional development plan and pursue continuing education.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 6 months outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• Lymphedema experience is required.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule, starting December 1st.
