As a Foremen you will serve as a hands‐on leader for your construction crews. You will be accountable for the safety, quality, and productivity of all crew members while completing construction projects for our customers. You will report to the General Foreman. CDL license or ability to acquire CDL permit within 60 days of hire. What You’ll Do Perform all of the responsibilities of a Journeyman Lineman Oversee crew administration and equipment management Work with employees, customers and the public Follow all safety and performance standards Maintain time and material records for the assigned job Complete required company training, including safety training Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership What You’ll Have High school diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical services industry required OSHA Competent Person Certified Experience leading a crew Experience reviewing plans/blueprints to ensure projects meet all building/code requirements CDL license or ability to acquire CDL permit within 60 days of hire What You’ll Get Benefit Package including Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage 401K with Company Match Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance and Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Vacation/Sick Time and Paid Holidays Employee Discounts Weekly Payroll Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English Work includes prolonged and repeated lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Legal Stuff Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card Our Commitment to Opportunity This job description is subject to change at any time.
