Job Title: Med Surg Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Med Surg experience required License: IN RN license required Certifications: BLS through AHA required Must-Have: Bedside shift report, Foley care, Medication administration, I&O charts, NG care, head to toe assessments Description: Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles. The client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment. Non-billable Orientation hours will not apply during orientation. Clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date will not be eligible for non-billable orientation. Position requirements include one or more years of Med Surg experience. Equipment utilized includes Onmicell, Accucheck, and EPIC. The nurse to patient ratio for this unit is 1:5 or 1:6. The dress code is Caribbean Blue. There is no floating to other units or departments. Charting system used is EPIC.
