Office Specialist I

We are currently recruiting for an Office Specialist.

This position will provide day to day administrative support through the completion of a variety of administrative tasks related to billing, payroll, recruiting and human resources.

Responsibilities:

• Source, recruit & screen potential employees through various sources including job boards, resumes, databases, etc.
• Identify qualified applicants for various roles, conduct initial phone screens and/or interviews, review necessary documentation
• Strong personal skills with the ability to interact with all personality types in a professional manner
• Review and help create policies.
• Maintain digital and physical filing systems for easy access and retrieval.
• Assist Project Managers with clerical duties

• Review weekly timesheets and payroll
• Communicate and collaboration with payroll company
• Child support and garnishment order processing

• Assist in billing preparation and review.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Associate degree minimum
• 2+ years of administrative assistant or similar position
• Prior work experience in accounting, billing, and HR functions desired
• QuickBooks experience preferred but not necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• A strong attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Exceptional phone etiquette
• Proven track record of taking initiative. (Self-Starter)
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities.

This role will be considered the primary point of contact between staff/field employees at multiple locations.
