Radiology - CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography is required. License: Must possess a state license. Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT) required. Must-Have: Must have satisfactorily completed an approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists. Description:Performs CT scans and radiographic exams.Produces computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs of designated anatomical areas as directed.Follows established practices and procedures while obtaining patient history.Explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.Works a three-day schedule with shifts allocated as follows: Friday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.Participates in an on-call rotation among staff.If shifts are not filled when on call, weekend work may be required.A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.The facility allows for cancellation of shifts per specific guidelines.All employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.Travelers should be aware of the potential for emergency assignments during this period.All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application, and any that arise later may affect contract approval.Travelers must complete necessary compliance projects prior to starting.Locals will be accepted case-by-case at a reduced rate.Candidates are expected to maintain professional attendance throughout the contract duration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
