We are seeking a Cardiologist for a reopened locum opportunity in Fort Myers, Florida, with coverage needs extending from November 2026 through June 2027. Coverage will include a combination of inpatient rounding and call across multiple hospital campuses. Assignment Details Assignment Window: November 16, 2026 June 30, 2027 Adult Cardiology Coverage across multiple Fort Myers-area campuses No telehealth Current Coverage Dates November November : Rounding only, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM December 4 at 5:00 PM December 7 at 8:00 AM: Call coverage December December : Rounding only, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM December December : Rounding only, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Schedule Combination of inpatient rounding and call coverage Rounding-only shifts: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Call required on designated coverage dates Practice Setting Adult Cardiology Inpatient and outpatient department Multi-campus health system Clinical Responsibilities Provide Adult Cardiology coverage Inpatient rounding Cardiology consultations Patient evaluation and management Call coverage as assigned Specific procedures and patient volume were not provided Requirements Cardiologist Clean NPDB required Candidates with malpractice history will not be accepted Active Florida license Ideal Candidate A Cardiologist who can provide flexible weekend, rounding, and call coverage throughout the assignment window and has a clean credentialing history with no malpractice history.
