Sports Medicine Associate Sales Representative (New Orleans)

Associate Sales Representative, Sports Medicine (New Orleans, LA) We are seeking a product consultant for the Sports Medicine product portfolio specializing in soft tissue injury repair and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, knee, hip, and small joints. Responsibilities Provide clinical case coverage in the operating room, secure inventory, observe, and consult surgical teams on Smith+ Nephew instrumentation and implants. Collaborate with sales reps, orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, administrators, and clinicians within assigned territory and hospital accounts. Assimilate and apply a high level of technical information related to surgery and procedures. Develop a territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota. Build and maintain positive relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and coworkers to enhance customer access and provide data‑driven solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of two (2) years sales experience in the medical device industry (preferred). Preferred experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products. Proven track record of selling or converting business at the surgeon or hospital level. Experience leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives. Team‑oriented, highly attentive to detail, and flexible to work non‑traditional hours. Self‑motivated, results‑driven, resourceful, and collaborative. Travel Requirements Within designated sales territory with 2–4 overnights per month; infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
