Location: Shelton, NE
Pay: $21/hr + Mileage Reimbursement
Seasonal Position | Starts Early July Looking for a short-term opportunity with plenty of time outdoors? We're seeking Field Inspectors to assist with seed corn inspections through early to mid-August. No experience is required. Training is provided! In this role, you'll inspect seed corn fields, monitor crop growth, perform stand counts and yield estimates and complete daily reports. You'll work independently while staying connected with supervisors through daily meetings and communication. Requirements:
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
• Ability to work independently and walk long distances
• Good math skills and attention to detail
• Tolerance to heat and corn pollen
• Cell phone for communication and reporting Hours begin at 8:00 AM daily and will vary based on weather and field conditions. Expect seven-day work weeks during the season.
