Phlebotomist We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Phlebotomist with over two years of experience. This role offers the potential to transition to a permanent position and requires strong computer skills. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and perform skilled specimen collections. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Conduct administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Essential Skills Phlebotomy certification. Experience in blood drawing and specimen collection. Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a laboratory setting. Ability to manage patient information accurately. Work Environment The role involves routine lab work, primarily with patients ranging from teens to geriatrics. The mornings tend to be busy, with a daily volume between 25-30 patients. Phlebotomists will work independently and should be comfortable operating on their own. The work week is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm. The position is initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
