Highway Engineer - PE

When you join us, you'll be responsible for:

-Preparing highway and roadway designs for WisDOT urban and rural projects, including interchanges, corridors, and major reconstruction efforts.

-Developing detailed plans, specifications, quantities, cost estimates, and design documentation for state highway projects.

-Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and project managers to deliver complex highway design solutions.

-Participating in quality control reviews and assist with project coordination throughout all design phases.

-Provide mentorship to junior staff

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation focus preferred).

-Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin

-4-8 years of roadway/highway design experience, including WisDOT projects.

-Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Bentley OpenRoads a plus.

-Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

-In-depth knowledge of WisDOT design standards, state highway specifications, and federal roadway guidelines.
