When the Job Coach is not at a work site, they may be asked to fill in for our senior supports program that encourages community activities for our residents who are retired. Schedule: Monday through Friday – 8am – 4pm (40 hours weekly). Salary Range: $18.00 to $20.00, per hour. Core ResponsibilitiesAdvocating for individuals to lead self-directed lives; engage individuals daily to provide meaningful vocational programs and community activities: plan, schedule and participate in various therapeutic activities; day to day problem solving; completion of all required documentation for Medicaid billing; transporting individuals to activities or their worksite; readying clients for the day and providing hands on care for those needing assistance with ADL and hygiene skills; administering medication; professional communication with the individuals, their families, co-workers, and supervisors.Participate in all meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills and RequirementsMust possess a high school degree or GED certification; a college degree is preferred.Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting; day program experience preferred.Ability to collaborate with leadership and stakeholders and work with diverse teams.Active CPR, First Aid and DDS Medication Administration Certification.
