Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to successfully complete and pass a basic math assessment.
• Current forklift certification required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment.
• Experience using RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Experience loading, unloading, staging, and transporting materials safely and efficiently.
• Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a food-grade warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing facility.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying inventory, shipments, and product condition.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Commitment to workplace safety, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust schedules as business needs require.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where temperatures fluctuate seasonally.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Job Duties

• Safely operate forklifts to pick, load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers while following all company and site-specific safety procedures.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, quantity, and product quality.
• Utilize RF scanners and WMS technology to maintain inventory accuracy and track product movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse associates to meet productivity and customer service goals.
• Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned by leadership.

What You Will Do


As a Forklift Operator, you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.

The Forklift Operator plays an important role in warehouse and manufacturing operations by operating forklifts to support inventory movement and material handling. This position requires strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and safe operating practices.


Successful Forklift Operator candidates understand warehouse workflows, equipment inspections, inventory procedures, and safe material handling while supporting productive daily operations. Consistent performance contributes directly to warehouse efficiency.
