Florida Democratic Coordinated Campaign is hiring Field Organizers to ensure that President Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot secure victory in November. At their core, a Field Organizer has a deep understanding of what is at stake in this election; loves driving action in-person; connects and activates people; is ready to build relationships in person; enjoys talking to voters; and believes in developing and coaching others. Field Organizers execute the statewide organizing program in their area of the state. They assist the Regional Organizer with engaging, cultivating, and deploying supporters in-person to share our message with voters. Field Organizers will report to a Regional Organizer who ensures that voter contact and capacity building goals are met online and offline.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with in-person community to create a relentlessly visible campaign.
• Recruit volunteers from in-person events, online sign-ups, phone calls, and texts.
• Train volunteers to have high impact conversations, share stories and messaging, and take on leadership.
• Support in-person action such as office events, house meetings, canvasses, phone banks, letter writing, themed messaging events, and high traffic canvassing.
• Set and exceed goals for volunteer recruitment and retention, as well as voter contact.
• Track, follow up, and coach volunteers who engage online to collect feedback.

• You have access to reliable transportation, and are willing to travel frequently.
