Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence, following state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions as directed in the OT plan of care.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with education for patients and their families.
- Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising OT.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong skills in teamwork and patient care.
