Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and achieve rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility techniques, home exercise programs, and recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or post-acute care experience preferred.
