Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, caring exclusively for adult patients across a broad range of medical diagnoses
• Manage patients presenting with conditions including respiratory illness, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 on day shifts, adjusting as census and acuity dictate
• Float to all inpatient units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experience
• Accurately document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to frequent changes throughout a shift
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to engage with team members and ancillary staff
