Registered Nurse - Rehab

Location: Muscle Shoals, AL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Rehab team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IV administration, blood transfusions, and wound care, and experience with geriatric and adult patient populations. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from strokes, multiple trauma, and orthopedic/neuro conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to assigned patients on the rehabilitation unit.
• Monitor patient progress and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the recovery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• Experience with wound care, IVs, and blood transfusions preferred.
• Experience in a rehab setting is preferable but not required.
