Staff Accountant

RMS is a fast-growing company in the toy and licensing industry, and our finance team is scaling right alongside the business. As we continue to build out RMS USA, we're adding a Staff Accountant who wants to be part of that growth, not just maintain the status quo. This is a hands-on role across the full accounting cycle in an environment where your contributions are noticed and your ideas can shape how we operate. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to the general ledger Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Perform account reconciliations including bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations to support management reporting Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including depreciation schedules Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies Support external and internal audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and process improvements Assist with sales tax filings and other regulatory compliance requirements as needed Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in accounting, general ledger, or financial reporting Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis) Experience with ERP systems or accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines What We Offer Opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing companies in the toy industry Collaborative, energetic, and creative work environment Career growth and development opportunities Competitive compensation and benefits package Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Bonus opportunities tied to individual and company performance Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, Paid time off Schedule: 8-hour shift Salary: $55,000-$65,000 + performance based year end bonus RMS International is an equal opportunity employer and values collaboration, creativity, and innovation across our teams.
