Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care across various acuities and age ranges in a 48-bed Emergency Department.
• Manage nursing ratios based on care area and patient acuity, typically 1:4.
• Work three shifts on weekends within a 4-week period as required.
• Comply with Nebraska Medicine's guidelines on uniform and appearance.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Strict adherence to all facility protocols, including maintaining a nicotine-free environment.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with eligibility for Nebraska state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Experience in Trauma Level I facility is required; Level II experience preferred.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, some mid-shifts included.
