### Exciting Opportunity for Cardiac Stepdown RN

Job Description:


- Join a dynamic team on the Cardiac Med-Surg Unit working with:
- 30 cardiac med-surg beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Enjoy a supportive staffing environment:
- 6 nurses per shift with a dedicated CNC/charge nurse
- Unit secretary on dayshift and 3 PCTs per shift
- Gain hands-on experience with cardiac drips:
- Titrated: Cardizem and heparin
- Non-titratable: dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone
- Utilize advanced equipment:
- GE telemetry and Rover
- Portable WOWs and Welch-Allen VS machine
- Document efficiently with Meditech
- Engage in a flexible self-scheduling system
- Participate in floating rotations with fellow travel nurses
- Contribute to patient experience excellence, acknowledged by NRC

Position Requirements:


- Must have:
- RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- EKG/cardiac rhythm identification skills
- Med-surg experience with familiarity in cardiac medications/drips
- Advanced skills needed:
- ACLS certification required


Work Schedule:


- Shifts: Full 12-hour shifts
- Weekend shifts: 3-4 per 4-week scheduling period
- Enjoy a family-friendly 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM schedule

Dress Code:


- Required uniform: Navy blue scrubs
