Operations Superintendent

- Provide direct leadership for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the TiCl₄ Operations Unit.
- Lead shift teams to achieve production, safety, environmental, quality, and reliability objectives.
- Champion process safety, behavioral safety, and compliance with plant operating procedures.
- Communicate production priorities, plant goals, operating expectations, and performance standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop operators through daily feedback, training, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all operating crews.
- Coordinate daily operating activities to maximize production while maintaining safe operating conditions.
- Monitor process performance and work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability, Laboratory, and EHS teams to resolve operating issues.
- Lead shift response during process upsets, abnormal operating conditions, and plant emergencies.
- Ensure personnel are properly trained on operating procedures, emergency response, and safe work practices.
- Support Management of Change (MOC), incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Promote a workplace built on respect, inclusion, and professional conduct.
- Utilize SAP and other plant systems to support shift operations and documentation.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on cost, reliability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
