Role Description The Exercise Physiologist will deliver evidence‑based exercise assessments, prescriptions, and training sessions to support clients in achieving their health, wellness, and performance goals. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting initial and follow‑up evaluations, monitoring client progress, and adjusting individualized exercise programs based on client needs and responses. The role involves working with clients across a range of abilities and conditions, including general fitness, injury recovery, and rehabilitation, while collaborating with other wellness professionals to ensure integrated care. The Exercise Physiologist will also provide ongoing education, motivate clients to adhere to their programs, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold safety and professional standards within the facility. This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in the New Bern–Morehead City area. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physiology and Exercise Physiology, with the ability to apply scientific principles to practical client programs. Experience in Exercise Prescription, including designing and progressing individualized training plans for diverse populations. Knowledge of Cardiac Rehabilitation and general Rehabilitation concepts, with the ability to work safely with clients who have medical or functional limitations. Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE or similar) and current CPR/AED certification. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, educate clients effectively, and build supportive, professional relationships. Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary wellness team. Experience working in a clinical, wellness, or performance setting is preferred, especially within small‑group or one‑on‑one environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
