Come Help Us Build What’s Next in HR TransEdge Truck Centers is looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team at an exciting point in our evolution. We’re enhancing our HR systems, strengthening our processes, and continuing to build a more connected and inclusive employee experience across our organization. As a smaller HR team, we stay close to the employees and managers we support, and everyone plays an active role in the everyday work that keeps HR moving. This role is a great fit for someone who has strong HR knowledge and enjoys using it in a hands-on way. You may be helping a manager navigate an employee concern, supporting an employee through FMLA, coordinating new-hire orientation, preparing for open enrollment, or helping us improve a workflow within our HR systems. You’ll work closely with the Senior HR Manager and broader HR team while supporting employees and leaders across our Pennsylvania locations. What You’ll Be Part Of Your work will touch many areas of the employee experience, including:

• Benefits administration and open enrollment
• FMLA and ADA administration
• Onboarding and new-hire orientation
• Employee relations and manager support
• Manager guidance on performance, accountability, and employee concerns
• Workers’ compensation tracking and administration
• Unemployment and 401(k) administration support
• CDL and consortium administration
• Recruiting, talent, and learning initiative support
• HRIS implementation and process improvement
• Employment compliance and day-to-day HR administration

You’ll also have opportunities to visit our locations, build relationships with employees and managers, and help strengthen how HR supports the business. What You Bring We’re looking for someone who is approachable, collaborative, organized, and comfortable balancing detailed HR administration with situations that require sound judgment and confidence.

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, wage and hour, employee relations, and employment compliance
• Benefits and open enrollment experience
• Experience supporting workers’ compensation and employee-relations processes
• Comfort guiding managers through performance and policy matters
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Experience with HR technology; ADP experience is strongly preferred
• The ability to build trust with employees and leaders at all levels

Experience supporting a union workforce is preferred. Experience within the automotive, truck dealership, transportation, service, or skilled-trades environment is a plus. Exposure to OSHA, workplace safety, wellness, employee engagement, or learning and development is also valuable. This is a fully on-site role based in Allentown, PA, with occasional travel to other TransEdge Truck Centers locations.
