Driver - Class A or B (Union)

Driver - Class A or B (Union) (Open) Location: San Diego, CA - Filling industrial Compensation & Schedule Pay: CDL A license holders make $32.46 per hour. Pay: CDL B license holders make $31.20 per hour. 40-45 hour work week, with minimal overtime. Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend. Referral bonus: $1,000. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies. Nurture courteous and professional relationships with customers. Support deliveries in a timely manner. Safely secure and unsecure cylinders. Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart – the position is physically active and hands‑on. Frequent vehicle entry and exit. Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements. Hazmat endorsement is required; candidates without current HAZMAT will not be considered. Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card, and endorsements. No more than two traffic convictions, or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years, or at most one traffic conviction and one at‑fault accident in the last 3 years. No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last 7 years. Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment. Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material handling equipment. Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years, or provide proof of a certified trucking school completion within the last 12 months. Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience.
