Custodian - Third Shift

Custodian – Third ShiftAcuity is seeking a Custodian – Third Shift to maintain a high level of custodial detail for Acuity's executive space, including private and open offices, restrooms, a kitchenette, conference rooms, and common areas; dispose of confidential paperwork; and provide third-shift custodial coverage outside of the executive area as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Details executive offices, administrative assistant offices and common spaces.Vacuums carpet.Dusts millwork, including overhead up to 20'.Cleans 7 restrooms.Cleans kitchenette.Practices secure paper disposal.Maintains ceramic tile and vinyl composition floor.Near perfect attendance and schedule flexibility to meet the ongoing demands of a dynamic environment/facility.Regular and predictable attendance.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:High School diploma.EXPERIENCE:Custodial maintenance required.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Confidentiality.Strong organizational, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to lift 75 pounds.Valid driver license.Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with management, maintenance personnel, and service contractors.*Acuity does not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization.*This job is classified as nonexempt.For this role, Acuity offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous 401(k) contribution, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, an Employee Assistance Program, and more.
