You will lead the engineering on high-traffic WordPress platforms for global brands: architecture, custom plugins and themes, and the publishing workflows the content teams live in.

What you will do

• Lead core engineering on enterprise WordPress platforms that publish daily.
• Build new functionality and maintain custom plugins and themes.
• Re-engineer admin experiences so editors move faster, not slower.
• Own performance, security and release quality on the sites you touch.
• Work directly with clients as the technical voice in the room.

What we look for

• Five or more years building custom WordPress at scale, not just assembling themes.
• Experience with CI, code review and keeping production boring.
• Clear written English and the confidence to disagree with a client kindly.

Nice to have

• Headless experience with Contentful, Strapi or Contentstack.
• Migrations off Drupal or legacy WordPress estates.
