In this role, you’ll be the one reaching out to business owners, CEOs, CFOs, and controllers—decision-makers who don’t want a pitch, they want insight. You’ll work with established businesses (3+ years in operation, minimum 5 employees) across a wide range of industries, writing accounts that typically range from $20K to $50K in premium. You’ll sell using strategy, not scripts—understanding exposures, analyzing needs, and presenting solutions that actually make sense for the client. From the first cold call to the final presentation, you’ll guide your prospects through a high-trust, high-impact decision that protects their livelihood. You’ve sold commercial insurance—or something close to it—and you understand what it means to lead with education, not pressure. You know how to knock on a door, follow up after a lunch, and stay top-of-mind without being pushy. You’re comfortable navigating long sales cycles, timing conversations around renewals, and balancing activity with intentionality. For you, integrity isn’t just a buzzword–it’s a way of life. You know how to prospect, how to follow through, and how to stay consistent—even when the win takes a while. Whether it’s 250 dials a week or coffee with a referral partner, you love the chase—and even more, you love what comes next. You’ll work out of our Raleigh office at 5510 Six Forks Rd, Ste 280 —but the real action happens out in the community. This is a relationship-first role, so you’ll spend most of your time meeting with clients and partners across the Triangle Market .
