About the Position

Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 days Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Call is required. Description: This position involves working four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call will be part of a six-week schedule, requiring one call per week. Call duty will start at the end of the shift, from 5:30 PM until 7:00 AM the following day. One weekend call is required every five weeks, covering either Saturday or Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Candidates must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call from the supervisor. The unit currently has nurses in orientation and several full-time RN positions open. There is a critical need for staff to ensure that rooms remain open for patient care.
