This person should be exceptional at communication equally with technicians and customers while helping direct people to available technicians.Responsibilities:Greet customers promptly and efficiently in person and on the phone while utilizing MAGICListen to customer's description of the problems or services needed to determine the type of service or repairs required, and prepare estimates and invoices for repairs and partsPerform walk around on customer's vehicle with customer presentWrite a brief description of the problem on the repair order to help the technician locate the problemCommunicate vehicle promise time to customer when checking them inExplain thoroughly to customer all completed work and any recommendations technician may have, go over 120-point inspection with explanationCollect payment from customerAct as a liaison between customer and manufacturer representatives and techniciansTrack repair orders, parts requests, unsold repairsPerform timely follow up with customerEnsure timely and accurate completion of repair orders and completed workSchedule appointments, answer any questions customer may have regarding repairs or maintenance that are neededMaintain manufacturer certification as requiredSkills Required:To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.High school diploma/GED requiredExtensive knowledge of automotive industry and partsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to communicate equally well with technicians, customers and senior managementTeton Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer.
